We are excited to share the news of our full-time opening for an Impact & Growth Coordinator at the Kitchener-Waterloo Library of Things (KWLOT).

This role is made possible thanks to the Ontario Trillium Foundation Grow Grant, announced at our Community Yard Sale in June. This funding allows us to expand our services, create meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities, and better serve our community. The Impact & Growth Coordinator will be a key component to seeing these goals come to fruition!

About the Role
The KWLOT Impact and Growth Coordinator is a full-time position focused on leading new revenue streams, expanding our employment program, and increasing community impact. We are looking for someone to lead and launch new programs and services that strengthen our tool-sharing community, promote environmental sustainability, and create meaningful supportive employment opportunities for individuals with lived expertise of disability.
The role will shift over the contract:
Year 1: The primary focus will be on creating the "backbone project structure," including research, business model development, and hiring new staff.
Years 2 & 3: The role will transition towards active program management, operational oversight, and the delivery of new services.
We look forward to working with the successful candidate to collaboratively shape the role as the project progresses.
