Introduction to Consent Workshop

from $5.00

Learn the basics of consent in relationships!

Do you want to improve your consent skills? Want to add some tools to your consent tool belt to help make it easier to check in with others?

Our Introduction to Consent workshop will provide participants with concrete tools to navigate consent conversations in relationships. We will chat about how consent is portrayed in media, consent and the law, how to have consent conversations, and look at specific tools for navigating consent in person and online.

Join us, along with your fellow neighbours, Tuesday September 15th, 2026 from 6pm to 8pm at the Extend-A-Family Office (91 Moore Avenue in Kitchener) for an interactive workshop to gain and strengthen your skills!

This workshop will be led by an expert who has facilitated hundreds of consent and allyship workshops with the Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region.

Important notes:

  • Mature themes will be discussed, including general conversations relating to sexual violence. Best suited for individuals over the age of 16.

  • No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
