Healthy Masculinity Workshop

from $5.00

Have you ever wanted to talk about what healthy masculinity looks like?

Join us, along with your fellow neighbours on International Men’s Day, Thursday November 19th, 2026, from 6pm to 8:30pm at the Extend-A-Family Office (91 Moore Avenue in Kitchener) for an interactive workshop all about what healthy masculinity looks like!

Our workshop will focus on two interactive activities, the Man Box, and the Strongest Man, to allow participants to reflect and share how they see healthy masculinity. It is an opportunity to unpack stereotypes and aims to help men feel more free to be who they truly are.

This workshop will be facilitated by Jacob, who has run hundreds of masculinity, bystander intervention, and allyship workshops with the Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region.

Pre-registration required. Limited space available.

$10 for Non-Members (select below)

$5 for KWLOT Members (select below)

Free for Premium KWLOT Members (please contact us to register)

Important notes:

  • Light refreshments provided.

  • Mature themes and language will be discussed, best suited for individuals over the age of 16.

  • This workshop is focused on creating space for men to reflect with other men about masculinity. Folks of other genders are welcome, although this workshop is primarily for male-identified people.

  • No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
